• Dominant market leaders – In executive search, remuneration, and board reviews, the top-ranked adviser holds roughly double (or more) the client count of its nearest competitor.
• Market Share – In each category the top-ranked firm advises at least 20% of FTSE 350.

How to Use This Data

Updated daily from regulatory disclosures, company reports, and news releases, this dataset allows you to filter advisers and their clients by index and industry to answer key strategic questions:

• For FTSE Boards & Committees: Benchmark your current advisory line-up and evaluate potential partners during tender processes.
• For Professional Services & Advisers: Map competitive positioning, track market share gains/losses, and identify prospective FTSE clients.

Methodology Notes

• Auditors: Formally appointed statutory auditor per annual reports.
• Executive Search: The most recently disclosed retained search consultants/headhunters engaged for board appointments.
• Remuneration Advisers: Consultants formally engaged by the remuneration committee or board.
• External Review Facilitators: Independent facilitators hired to conduct board performance evaluations.

FTSE companies are required by the UK Corporate Governance Code 2024 to identify their executive search, remuneration and review advisers in their annual report. However some don’t do so, because they have not used an adviser or have chosen not to disclose which firm they used.
